David van der Giessen from Jump Rope for Heart visited the school on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 to present two certificates.

David presented two ceritificates recognising our fundraising efforts.

Former student Marishka Roworth received a certificate recognising her efforts as one of the top 10 fundraisers in Queensland.

Ma Ma Creek State School also featured in the 'Top 10 Fundraising Schools - per Capita' in Queensland. This award is worked out by taking the amount of funds raised and dividing it by the number of fundraisers.

David told the students that he really enjoys visiting Ma Ma Creek School because the students show great enthusiasm and are great fundraisers.
